Is using an emulator launcher legal?+
RetroApp is a launcher, not a ROM provider. It ships no games. You supply your own files. We recommend ROMs of games you own physical copies of.
What is the Génésis engine?+
Génésis is SPYRO's proprietary emulation engine — built from scratch, zero-config, with native shaders, rewind, and ultra-low latency. Your existing ROMs work fine — just point it at the same folder.
Windows, macOS, Linux — all three?+
Yes. Built with Tauri — a true native app on all platforms. ~25 MB download, no Electron.
What do Pro and Premium add?+
